Living in a place with culture and history is great. But let’s face it. A lot of our homes are older and out of style. It comes with the territory. I’ve been trying really hard to decide on how to upgrade my bathroom, specifically the shower. And no, it is not as easy as googling “shower doors in union county NJ.” I wanted some help from the pros. I wanted to get this right, because it will prove to be an investment in the long run anyway. They say bathrooms and kitchens, right? I ended up finding a place called Vlad’s that was local here in Union County, NJ. They got me a quick and free quote. I was able to schedule the work fast. They came out quickly and I was pretty psyched. From filling out an online form to replacement, it was maybe a matter of weeks. What was unique was how great the bathroom looked. A house built 30 years ago was not looking it’s best. We get that. But I think this new shower door is better than when we bought the house. I got what is called a bi-fold shower Door. There are hinges on both sides, and the doors pull open from the center out towards the walls. I was replacing one of those doors that has the two sliding tracks on the rails above. Do you know what makes no sense about those, as Vlad’s thankfully made me aware? No matter what, it is always half closed. You can only make use of fifty percent of the opening. Trying to shower an old family member or clean the kids? The bi-fold door is a million billion times better. Anyway, not to make this an advertisement, but shout out to Vlad’s. They did a great job and I recommend them for other in Union County.
